LIZ+SHRAVAN
Liz and Shravan are some of my favorite people. For real.
I met them last winter while photographing Shravan’s sister, Smriti’s wedding in Kenya. They were such incredible hosts for Maddie and I while we were in Nairobi. While we were there, Liz and Shravan were jokingly harassed by family for not ever having had a “real” wedding. Although they were already “legally” married a few years before, they had only gone to a courthouse to make it legal. Soon after I arrived back from Africa, I got an email from Liz titled, “Nairobi, part deux…”. Needless to say, I was stoked at the chance to hang with them again and photograph the two of them in their Brooklyn, NY home and where Shravan grew up in Kenya. I think by looking through these photos, you’ll obviously see their love for one another and their family/friends as well. An incredible time was had by all.
PART ONE // BROOKLYN, NY
PART TWO // NAIROBI, KENYA

i had a smile on my face the whole time scrolling through these. all emotions perfectly captured.
These are incredible, Benj. Those shots of the groom getting dressed in Nairobi are hilarious, and that henna is blowin’ my mind.
